Three of the Botanical Medallion series in my Fabric Art Gallery in Vista, CA.

My love for flowers got me started playing with all the wonderful floral fabrics available in fabric stores nowadays. I tried to create a dynamic flow and movement using the colors and designs in the fabrics themselves. I use fusible stabilizer when I sew the sections together which makes the whole process a
little faster. Sometimes I add just a little bit of diagonal meandering quilting and sometimes I use a
stitch in the ditch technique.

I never get tired of looking at these gems of fabric art. They can be added to any traditional decor
and they add warmth and charm to any contemporary setting.
