When you're looking for a really special shoulderbag that holds a lot of stuff and travels well, look no further! My shoulder bags are lightweight and washable made lovingly from beautiful cotton fabrics.

There are pockets on the outside for keys, for example. Some have a slim pocket for the cell phone. All of them have double flaps which add an element of safety as well as enhancing the visual design.

I've only made about a dozen so far with slight variations in size and style. Each one has a name because to me they're art pieces as well as functional creations.

Handpainted Silk Scarves by Katrina

I love my silk scarves and wear them to art shows, art show openings, as a docent, whenever I want to stand out in the crowd!

Each scarf is pre-treated to take the acrylic or fabric paints that I use. Each design is also unique, no two are ever repeated. Many techniques are used, such as scrunching, pleating, splattering, spraying and plain paint strokes. The scarves are wet when painted, air dried, heated in the microwave, air dried more and heat set with an iron.
